Our firm is characterised by:

Trust as a basis

Trust is the basis for success in legal affairs. We therefore find a lasting relationship between client and law firm very important. We trust our clients to do their business and they can rely on us for the correct legal advice and handling of cases. This means, among other things: an agreement is an agreement, and extreme care and discretion in the investigation, analysis, advice and legal settlement of cases.

Practical and concrete

We like to get our teeth into abstract, complex issues that require creative solutions. We would rather focus on the possibilities than on the impossibilities. We love practical and concrete advice, so that you can make the right choices when running your business. If you have a question in an area that we are not familiar with, we will refer you to a colleague from our network.

People oriented ina business sense

In resolving a conflict, we take a stringent approach to subject matter while employing diplomacy towards the parties. A firm substantive approach does not rule out an effective discussion with your other party. There are several ways to reach a solution.

Financially transparent

In addition to effective advice and litigation, we also like efficiency in our work and clear financial agreements for all parties. We are open to innovative collaboration structures.

International cooperation

Langerak Advocaten is the Dutch partner within the international organisation “E-Iure”, a network of law firms in Europe, North and South America, India and Australia. There is active cooperation and knowledge sharing in this organisation meaning that Langerak Advocaten can offer its clients added value in international practice.

HISTORY

Langerak Advocaten’s origins are in Utrecht, where the firm was founded in 2014 by several lawyers who had previously worked together for years in the commercial practice of a local firm. The firm moved to Amsterdam in June 2019.

Big & Small

We handle all big and small cases in these legal areas and do not shy away from a complex legal challenge with major (international) interests. However, we also occasionally assist private individuals. We know the game like no other. Langerak Advocaten acts as a “tailor-made lawyer” in all matters – sharp, to the point, competitive and swift. We feel at home in court and do not shy away from a tough fight in the courtroom. We like to come up with unexpected procedural strategies that enable us to resolve disputes quickly, effectively and efficiently, also in terms of cost. If an out of court solution is possible, we are happy to enter into negotiations on your behalf.

Focus on Entrepreneurs

The majority of our clients are entrepreneurs. They are regularly confronted with issues in the field of liability and contracts. We assist our clients in the areas of employment law, real estate/construction law, corporate law, insolvency law, and within logistics practice. We look beyond our city and national borders. We can count both Dutch and international companies among our clientele. Collaborations with foreign clients and law firms are part of our daily practice.
